Samsung Galaxy A7 Thinnest passing tenna
Samsung Galaxy A7 Thinnest passing tenna

Samsung Galaxy A7 made its way through TENAA in China. The upcoming smartphone is bound to become the Korean giants thinnest Galaxy smartphone to date.
Part of Samsungs Galaxy A series, the A7 doesnt look too different from the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3, though its larger than both of them. We initially thought that the A7 would sport a 5.2 inch display, but that isnt true. The new handset comes with a bigger, 5.5-inch 1080p screen, and measures 150.9 x 75.9 x 6.3 mm - thus being Samsungs thinnest smartphone ever (just a tad slimmer than the 6.7mm Galaxy A5 and Galaxy Alpha).
The rest of the Samsung Galaxy A7 specs include 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC with 1.5GHz octa-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in memory, 12MP main camera, and 5MP front-facing unit.
Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy A7 version that passed through TENAA is made for the Chinese market. An international model is also expected. The Galaxy A7 thats been approved in China has the model number SM-A7009, and is specifically made for the Chinese market. Samsung should officially announce the new handset pretty soon, so it wont be long until we find out more about it.
Samsung Galaxy A7 will likely go official in the near future. The device will join the likes of Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 in the companys new mid-range family.
While Samsung has yet to announce the Galaxy A7, we can now take a look at the handset in all its glory - thanks to the fact that its been approved by Chinas Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center.
