while working ios 7, never had these issues, since ios 8 has come in, have noticed lot of problems our testers. ios 7, whenever new device/tester joined our team, create new provisioning certificate apple, , update on testflight. seamlessly allow ios 7 users know build updated, , able utilize it. when ios 8 user tries download build, error gets is, if udid never added build, although in provisioning certificate, listed. have seen couple of questions related couldnt find clear solution. workaround doing is, everytime ios 8 user joins in, have create new build using new provisional certificate, , upload 1 time again on testflight. getting worse now, because number of our testers increasing day day.

i using xcode 5.1.1 (5b1008) create builds.

since apple acquired testflight, changed whole process ios 8:

no more provisionning profiles, apple ids email. 1,000 beta testers , 25 internal testers per application. https://itunesconnect.apple.com/ new testflightapp.com/dashboard/ you need utilize xcode 6 handle ios 8
